Bio: Kage was born the son of a skilled blacksmith. His mother died in childbirth, forcing him to grow up with a rugged take on life. As soon as he was old enough to hold a hammer, his father had him working along side him making weapons and armor. By the age of 13, his body and skin had adapted and changed to being in the forge all of his life. His skin was so tough that weapons could barely penetrate it and every muscle in his body was defined. By the age of 14, he joined up with a band of fighters who trained him in the arts of hand-to-hand combat. At 16, he returned home to say his goodbyes to his father before he went off to war. His parting gift to his son, were the deadly blade claws.
During a seige on a castle, Kage was in the front line trying to break down the gates with his comrads. The enemy poured barrels of hot oil on Kage and his comrads. They all died within seconds, except for Kage. His tough skin protected the oil from melting his flesh, instead it fused with his body and badly mutated his face. Left for dead, he hid in the woods to hide his shame of his appearance. With the oil infused in his body, he could no longer expose his bare flesh to the sunlight, or he broke out into welts and burns. He spent the next 4 years living in the darkness of the forest, learning how to stealth through the night becoming invisible to the untrained eye. He began to wear a robe and mask so that he could venture out into the daylight. Though he eventually grew to hate people, as they ran at the very sight of him.
A general scoutting through the forest one day, discovered Kage and learned of his abilities he obtained living out in the forest. He offered Kage money to assassinate someone who owed the general money. Kage took the offer, and killed without ever being discovered in the dead of night. Learning that people would pay money for his skills, he bacame a drifter, taking evry assassination mission given to him. Those who rarely spotted him, gave him the name of Phantom. A name which became the stories of nightmares. Today, he still drifts from town to town, taking assassination missions from both sides. Hoping to one day find someone who can help him change back to the way he used to be.
